Our client formed their company focused on real estate investments for individuals, creating a relatively unchartered type of business. It was important to the founders that their practice both operated and was perceived as steady, efficient, direct, and logical. They wanted their new office space to convey these core principles.
Location was an important consideration for recruitment and convenience, thus they made an investment in a coveted new office building. To offset the cost of premium Class A space, we created a flexible floor plan, allowing them to combine a board room with their reception area to create a larger space used for monthly receptions for investors.
In keeping with their staid approach, we recommended investing in comfortable, well-made classic furniture that would not devalue, would move with them when the time comes to relocate to their next larger office.
“Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design”.
